Overview Plugin

What it is. And what arrives.

Facebook Page conversations, handled automatically by a chatbot the user already trained.

The Messenger extension adds a Facebook Messenger channel to an existing chatbot. Setup subscribes the page to the app for you, a webhook receives incoming messages, and replies are sent straight back through the Messenger platform. A test-configuration call verifies the page token independently, so a user can confirm the connection is healthy at any point rather than waiting for a customer to report silence.

Because the bot is already trained on the user's own content, going live on Messenger is a connection step rather than a project — the same knowledge base and tone that answer on their website now answer on their Page. Channel quotas are enforced against the number of Messenger channels already connected: a global limit covers free users and each subscription plan carries its own allowance, which also appears in the plan builder. That gives you a clean way to make additional channels part of your upgrade path.

Key features

  • Automatic page subscription — the Facebook Page is wired to the app during setup.
  • Webhook-driven replies — inbound messages are received and answered without human involvement.
  • Credential verification — a standalone test action confirms the page token at any time.
  • Reuses trained bots — no separate knowledge base to build for Messenger.
  • Quota control — a bot limit for free users and a separate allowance per plan, exposed in the plan builder.
  • Consistent answers — the same tone and content as the user's website bot.

Powered by

Delivery runs on the Meta Messenger Platform via the Graph API. Meta transports the messages; the responses come from the model powering the connected chatbot.

Ideal for

  • Local businesses whose customers message the Page instead of calling.
  • Retailers fielding repetitive stock, hours and returns questions.
  • Agencies managing several client Pages from one platform.
  • Operators bundling channels as a tier differentiator.
