One payment. No subscription, no seat count, and a licence that never expires.
Clone a voice once, then use it for everything you narrate.
Speechify Voice Clone lets users build a custom voice from a sample and keep it in their account permanently. Because cloning takes time on the vendor side, the interface polls the clone's status until it is ready rather than blocking on a long request — the user starts the job and comes back to a finished voice. From that point the clone can be used for synthesis and previewed on demand from a dedicated page.
The commercial lever here is the clone limit: admins set how many voices an unsubscribed user may create, which makes this one of the cleanest upgrade triggers on the platform — the first clone demonstrates the value, and the second one requires a plan. Users manage their own clones from a list and can delete voices they no longer need, so the allowance stays meaningful rather than permanently consumed by an early experiment.
Powered by Speechify, which performs the voice modelling and synthesis. One API key covers cloning, playback and deletion.
